Remortgage Conveyancer – Newport – 2+ years experience
Location: Newport, South Wales (Hybrid & Flexible)

Salary: £28,000 to £35,000 (depending on experience)

An award-winning residential conveyancing company based in Newport is seeking exceptional and driven Remortgage Conveyancers to join its growing team. The Role

You’ll manage your own remortgage caseload, overseeing the legal elements of the process including tenancy remortgages, staircasing, leasehold, and transfer of equity. You’ll be responsible for progressing cases efficiently, maintaining high standards of client service, and meeting departmental targets.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a full remortgage caseload independently
  • Handling legal administration on behalf of lenders
  • Reviewing property titles and reporting on mortgage offers
  • Communicating with clients and third parties via phone, email, and correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate case records through the CMS
  • Meeting performance targets and deadlines
  • Ensuring compliance and due diligence throughout the process

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a conveyancer or case handler with:

  • 2+ years experience in remortgage or residential conveyancing
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Confidence in resolving client queries and complaints
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to team working
