Registered Manager – Southampton
We are actively recruiting a Registered Manager on behalf of our client based in Southampton. This exciting opportunity compliments their continued growth and they are now looking for a passionate and driven Registered Manager to oversee their service on a Full Time, Permanent basis.

Your role as the Registered Manager include:
Lead a passionate team to place children’s needs at the core of everything, ensuring the creation of a stable, nurturing space. Implementing policies and procedures will be key, ensuring they align with the home’s objectives and comply with the highest standards. You will also be responsible for developing individual care plans tailored to each child’s needs, supporting both their physical and emotional well-being. Collaboration with external professionals, families, and carers is essential in creating a robust support network for each child’s growth.
As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), you will ensure the safety and well-being of every child in your care. You will manage the home’s budget and resources, ensuring alignment with the children’s needs and operational goals. Additionally, you will oversee the development and training of staff, ensuring they have the support, skills, and guidance necessary to excel in their roles.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have at least two years of experience in managing a children’s home.
Have a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or a commitment to obtain it.
Hold a full UK manual driving License and the right to work in the UK is essential.
Experience in working with children Home.
A deep understanding of the regulatory framework, including the Children’s Homes.
Additionally, you will be expected to approach challenges creatively, continually seeking to improve the children’s living environment.
