My client is seeking an experienced and passionate Dual Registered Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of two children’s homes. This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader to shape services, inspire staff, and achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
The Role
As the Dual Registered Manager, you will:
Dual Registered Manager will take responsibility for the management of two children’s homes (emergency and planned placements).
Safeguard and promote the welfare of children, ensuring care is delivered in line with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards.
Provide strong leadership to staff, embedding their ethos and maintaining high professional standards.
Oversee staff development through supervision, training, and appraisal, fostering a motivated and effective team.
Ensure compliance, quality assurance, and readiness for Ofsted inspections.
Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring sustainable service delivery.
The Dual Registered Manager will participate in the on-call rota to support staff and young people out-of-hours.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Dual Registered Manager needs to be qualified – NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children, Young People & Families (or working towards).
Experienced – proven track record in residential childcare management.
Knowledgeable – strong understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015.
A Leader – able to inspire, manage, and retain high-performing teams.
