Job title: Real Estate Solicitor

Salary: £55,000-£68,000
PQE Level: 2+ PQE

An ambitious commercial property team spanning multiple offices is looking for a technically capable Real Estate Solicitor to join its Guildford offering. You will advise on commercial property and residential investment matters, managing your own files and contributing to the team’s fee-earning targets while delivering high standards of client service.
Key responsibilities
- Advise on and progress commercial property transactions; draft and review leases, sale/purchase documents and finance-related paperwork.
- Identify and resolve legal and transactional risks; provide pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
- Ensure compliance with AML/KYC and regulatory requirements; maintain excellent file management and accurate time recording.
- Build a developing client/referrer base and spot opportunities to refer work across the firm.
- Supervise junior staff and cover for colleagues as required; support marketing and practice development activities.
Skills and experience
- Qualified solicitor (LPC+PSC or SQE route) with solid commercial property experience.
- Strong technical accuracy, commercial awareness and an ability to manage multiple transactions to deadline.
- Clear communicator, organised, and comfortable working independently and within a team.
