Description

  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence to a high standard.
  • Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for legal professionals.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and telephone calls.
  • Maintain accurate client records and organise case files efficiently.
  • Assist with billing processes, including preparing invoices and tracking payments.
  • Provide administrative support for legal research and case preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with office procedures and confidentiality requirements.
  • Support the wider secretarial and business support team as needed.
  • Dictation as required

Profile

A successful Legal Secretary should have:

  • Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role within a law firm
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing documents.
  • Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional support.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
