Description
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence to a high standard.
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for legal professionals.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and telephone calls.
- Maintain accurate client records and organise case files efficiently.
- Assist with billing processes, including preparing invoices and tracking payments.
- Provide administrative support for legal research and case preparation.
- Ensure compliance with office procedures and confidentiality requirements.
- Support the wider secretarial and business support team as needed.
- Dictation as required
Profile
A successful Legal Secretary should have:
- Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role within a law firm
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing documents.
- Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional support.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary in the range of £35,000 – £40,000 depending on experience.
