Description

The key responsibilities of this German Speaking Accountant role will be:

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports in compliance with German accounting standards.
  • Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely reconciliations.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support monthly and year-end closing activities.
  • Provide insights on financial performance to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal reviews.
  • Respond to queries related to German accounting practices and financial matters.

Profile

A successful German Speaking Accountant should have:

  • Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
  • Proven experience in a similar accountancy role
  • Proven knowledge of German accounting standards and practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
