The Finance Manager (with a systems slant) is a pivotal role within the high-performing finance department. This position ensures financial efficiency and accuracy while also maintaining and improving the financial systems.

Description
- Ownership of month end, providing insights into performance, Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Maintain and improve financial systems to ensure efficiency and data integrity. Driving strategic decision-making by automation and improving reports from Oracle.
- Providing world class leadership whilst mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
- Assist with Year-end and liaising with the auditors.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Provide financial advice and support to other departments within the organisation
- Perform ad-hoc financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Strong knowledge of financial systems and databases, ideally Oracle.
- Strong excel skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
