Overview

This is a senior role where you’ll act as the day-to-day Finance Lead for specific projects. You will be responsible for all financial management, including business planning, reporting, and compliance, while also managing key relationships with the Board, funders, and clients.

Description

  • Review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee cash flow management and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments across multiple projects to provide financial insights and support.
  • Supervise and guide junior finance staff within the Accounting & Finance team.
  • Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required

Profile

A successful Finance Manager should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Understanding of budgeting and forecasting
  • Proficiency in financial software and Excel skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
