Overview
The Finance Assistant will support the finance department by managing day-to-day financial tasks. This role is based in London and requires previous experience in a fast-paced, proactive finance role.

My client are a fast-paced, growing PR & Marketing firm. with London Head Offices. As a result of continued growth the finance team are looking to expand and therefore are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join the team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.
Description
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes using Xero.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions efficiently.
- Track and process employee expenses through Pleo.
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Support the team in forecasting and budget planning activities.
- Use Harvest to monitor project costs and profitability.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using Xero, Pleo, and Harvest software is desirable
- Experience in managing financial processes and reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and process improvement.
- A degree or relevant qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
