Job title: Commercial Solicitor, Southampton

Salary: £50k-£62k

PQE Level: 2+ PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

You will be joining a leading law firm with particular expertise in health, charities and social care. They have an exciting opening for a commercial solicitor to work with public sector clients. As a junior solicitor, you will be working closely with senior members of the commercial department. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to learn from a specialist team.

As a commercial solicitor, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with NHS organisations
  • Corporate governance matters
  • Joint working and statutory power matters

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Have experience within procurement and general commercial contracts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to arrive at the best legal solutions.
  • Client-facing experience
  • Good writing skills to draft professional and accurate legal documents and reports.
