Description
- Manage procurement processes for IT and marketing categories, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities for cost savings and improved supplier terms.
- work with a global team, procuring for sites in the US, Asia and Europe.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil their procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
- Prepare and present procurement reports to management, providing insights and recommendations.
- Negotiate contracts that deliver value while managing risks effectively.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
Profile
A successful Buyer – IT & Marketing should have:
- Experience in procurement, specifically within IT and/or marketing categories.
- Prior experience in a large organisation, to follow process and frameworks that are in place.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in analysing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
- A background in the industrial and manufacturing sector is advantageous.
- Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
- Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.
