This is an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic and highly-motivated to be part of a growing organisation supporting children and young people in a homely environment.
In your role you will support the registered manager in the running of the home and provide a safe haven with care and support for 2 young people. You will be an integral part of the smooth-running of the home and supporting a small team of support staff. In addition, engaging in activities with the young people and building relationships that encourage the development of their life-skills, following personalised care planning and risk assessments.
Leadership, written and verbal communication skills are important to complete your duties within this role. You’ll need to be empathetic and patient and have the ability to use your own initiative while working in co-operation with other team members.
A successful candidate will need:
– Experience in a similar position
-Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and the Children’s Home Quality Standards
– Minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People and a willingness to work up to Level 5.
-UK Driving License
-Enhanced DBS check
