Associate / Senior Associate – Agriculture & Estates – Cardiff – 4-8 years PQE
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience)

A leading UK law firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Agriculture & Estates team in Cardiff. This is a unique opportunity to lead and grow transactional work within a nationally recognised practice, supported by a collaborative team across contentious and non-contentious matters.

The Role
You’ll advise on a broad range of agricultural and estates matters, including:

  • Sales, purchases, and mortgages
  • Estate management and agricultural tenancies
  • Tax and succession planning
  • Conservation and natural capital projects
  • Biodiversity Net Gain agreements

You’ll also:

  • Develop and maintain specialist knowledge
  • Collaborate across the wider team
  • Engage in business development and referral opportunities

Candidate Requirements
This role is suited to a qualified lawyer with:

  • 4-8 years PQE
  • Experience in agricultural law or broader property work
  • Strong technical and drafting skills
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively
  • Commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Ambition, organisation, and a proactive mindset
