Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled ITU/ICU Registered Nurses to join our team for assignments at a medical facility located near BS23 4TQ.

In this role, you will deliver high-standard, one-to-one critical care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions. We offer complete flexibility with full-time, part-time, ad-hoc, and block-booking options, spanning both day and night shifts to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.

• Monitor, record, and interpret vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and advanced life-support equipment data.

• Manage mechanical ventilators, infusion pumps, and specialized critical care therapeutics.

• Administer medications, blood products, and intravenous therapies safely and accurately.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (doctors, consultants, and specialists) to formulate and execute patient care plans.

• Respond rapidly and effectively to medical emergencies and sudden changes in patient status.

• Provide compassionate communication, reassurance, and support to patients’ families.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid NMC Registration with an active PIN.

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of recent UK-based ITU/ICU nursing experience.

• Proven competency in managing ventilated patients and critical care technology.

• Up-to-date mandatory training certificates (Basic Life Support / Advanced Life Support is a strong advantage).

• Enhanced DBS check (registered on the Update Service is preferred).

• Strong clinical decision-making, resilience, and communication skills.
