General Manager – Adventure & Leisure
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000
Location: London and Liverpool
I am looking for a self-motivated, results-driven General Manager to lead an exciting adventure and leisure operation. This pivotal role combines commercial growth, operational excellence, H+S, and the delivery of extraordinary customer experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth and identify new commercial opportunities.
- Take full ownership of site P&L, budgets, resources, and financial reporting.
- Develop local marketing plans, partnerships, and events.
- Maintain exceptional standards of customer service and operational delivery.
- Lead, coach, and develop a passionate, high-performing team.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure robust safety, compliance, and risk-management standards.
About you
- At least two years’ General Manager experience within leisure, hospitality, or a similar multi-channel business.
- Proven success in growing sales and profitability.
- Strong Health and Safety experience is essential.
- Commercially focused, confident with financial data, and highly organised.
- An engaging communicator with excellent leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with large projects, capital investments, or seasonal teams is desirable.
- A passion for adventure and creating memorable customer experiences.
