Employment Solicitor NQ-2 PQE – Nottingham
Long established Nottingham firm seeks an employment solicitor to join their busy and expanding team. You will be part of department noted in Legal 500 for their work and deal with a range of employment matters.
Responsibilities
- Dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious employment work, mostly acting for employers
- Dealing with employee relations issues, employment tribunals, TUPE transactions, contracts of employment, settlement agreements, redundancies and restructures, dismissals and discrimination issues, and restrictive covenants
- Acting for clients in a diverse range of sectors
- Acting for a mix of owner managed businesses, charities and large corporate clients, some of which are household names
- Contributing to the marketing and business development activity of the team and wider firm
About you
- Up to 2 years PQE in employment law
- Good client relationship skills
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Keen attention to detail whilst also maintaining efficient progress
- Able to prioritise and manage numerous tasks
