Maintenance Technician (Electrical)
A respected healthcare provider is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join its Facilities team. The role will support a busy site with planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional travel to other locations and participation in an out-of-hours rota.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works.

Perform first-level fault finding and repairs on equipment, building assets, and specialist medical equipment.

Complete minor improvement works and support the wider Facilities team with mechanical and plumbing tasks as needed.

Conduct statutory checks, including emergency lighting, PAT testing, and fire alarm support.

Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
Requirements:

Recognised Trade Apprenticeship.
- p]:pt-0 [&>p]:mb-2 [&>p]:my-0″>
City & Guilds Level 1, 2, 3 in Electrical Engineering (18th Edition) or equivalent.

Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a healthcare, residential, or similar environment.

Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.

Clean driving license for occasional travel between sites.

Compassionate approach with the ability to work sensitively in a hospice environment.
