My client is looking for an experienced Registered Manager to launch and lead there brand-new 3-bed children’s residential home in Longton, Preston – supporting young people aged 12–18 with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs.

? What you’ll be doing
Leading the launch and daily operations of a new 3-bed children’s home
Creating a safe, trauma-informed, therapeutic environment
Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
Managing rotas, staffing, budgeting, and care planning
Supervising, supporting, and developing a high-performing care team
Building strong relationships with families and professionals
Working in partnership with a Consultant Psychotherapist (1.5 days per month)
? Experience
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in children’s residential care
Experienced Registered Manager OR a strong Deputy ready to step up
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children’s) or working towards it
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs
A compassionate, resilient leader with excellent communication and organisational skills
