Residential Childcare Worker – Dorchester
We are looking for a Residential Childcare Worker in Dorchester to work in a supported living home for young people.
You will be based in a settled home with four teenagers who have suffered some form of trauma when they were younger. As a Residential Childcare Worker you will support young people with their daily activities such as cooking, cleaning and accessing local activities.
We are looking for experienced staff members who worked in a similar setting and have a good knowledge of challenges that young people may be facing. You will have a good sense of humour, possess strong communication skills, both oral and written.
This a temporary role with a view of a permanent position for the right individual. It offers fixed hours on a 3 week rolling rota that includes long days and sleep ins.
