  • Support councils in navigating planning, land assembly, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists in housing, transport, energy, and finance.
  • Represent the organisation at senior forums, industry events, and government roundtables.

Exciting opportunity for a Director – Commercial Real Estate & Regeneration Advisory focused on local authority advisory, place-based Infrastructure & regeneration for a UK-based public investment institution. Leeds.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial real estate development, regeneration, or investment advisory.
  • Proven track record delivering or advising on complex, place-based regeneration projects in partnership with local authorities.
  • Strong understanding of public-private development models, viability assessments, and funding mechanisms (e.g. JV structures, institutional capital, levelling-up funds).
  • Deep knowledge of local government planning, land use policy, and economic development.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
