Description
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the finance team to produce forecasts and budgets.
- Oversee cost and variance analysis to support financial decision-making.
- Provide financial insights to support business strategies and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
- Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Support process improvements within the accounting and finance department.
- Deliver ad hoc financial reports as requested by senior management.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Strong experience in management accounting within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
