Description
- Prepare and analyse financial forecasts, budgets, and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights into financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators and recommend improvements to drive profitability.
- Manage and report on product costing, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist in financial audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process optimisation.
Profile
A successful Commercial Accountant should have:
- A recognised accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience within the accounting and finance sector, ideally in FMCG.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
