About You:
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology looking for a locum role? We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to support our client in delivering excellent women’s health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a comprehensive range of obstetric scans including nuchal translucency scans, anomaly scans, and growth scans.
- Conduct gynaecological ultrasound examinations using both trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal approaches.
- Utilise Doppler ultrasound techniques for assessment of blood flow, including umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery.
- Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Essential Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced Sonographer (Obstetrics & Gynaecology) with:
- Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (e.g., MSc/Diploma).
- HCPC Registration.
- FMF Nuchal Translucency Accreditation.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified Sonographer, ideally within the UK healthcare system.
- At least 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
