This is a large Housing Association within the not for profit sector, serving over one hundred thousand people across London. With a significant focus on technology and digital transformation, they are committed to utilising the best and latest technologies to deliver exceptional services to those they support.

Description

  • Design, code, test and manage various applications
  • Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products
  • Be accountable for all aspects of software development from code design to implementation
  • Troubleshoot software issues and debug application codes
  • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
  • Write effective APIs
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes
  • Ensure software is up-to-date with latest technologies

Profile

A successful Software Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Proven experience as a Software Developer or similar role using C# / ASP.NET
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Proficiency in coding languages and frameworks/systems including JavaScript and MVC
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new languages and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience within Cloud environments, preferably Azure

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary range of approximately £50,400 – £62,000 per annum
  • Generous pension contributions plus free life assurance
  • Excellent annual leave allowance (25 days rising to 27 after 2 years of service)
