Description

  • Development and execution of project designs, from conception to pre-manufacture stage.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and clients to develop innovative solutions.
  • Assessment of project requirements and development of cost-effective design methodologies.
  • Preparation of project reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Engagement in continuous learning and development activities to maintain industry knowledge.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Identification of potential project risks and development of mitigation strategies.
  • Provision of technical support to the manufacturing team as required.

Profile

The successful Project Design Engineer should have:

  • Worked in a similar position liasing with clients on product design.
  • A degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in project design within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of design software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate c£200 Outside IR35
  • Contract position client facing
  • Hybrid role (predominantly from home)
