Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality of products and timely delivery
- Oversee the procurement team and provide them with guidance and support
- Monitor market trends and perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Prepare and present reports on procurement and supply chain performance
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment of procurement processes with company goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations
- Evaluate and manage the procurement budget and work to improve spending
Profile
A successful Procurement Lead should have:
- 8+yrs experience in technology/IT/software category management
- 12+yrs experience working across indirect procurement
- A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement or similar roles within the Financial Services industry
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make sound decisions
