One of the largest council’s in London who are looking for additional support within their finance function with the appointment of a Pensions & Treasury Accountant.

Description

As a Pensions & Treasury Accountant you will be responsible for ;

  • Support the preparation of the pension fund account and treasury account, annual reports and treasury budgets.
  • Ensure the general ledger and management functions are maintained
  • Lead on engagement with auditors in line with current protocols
  • Maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

You have extensive experience of pensions and treasury with the public sector and understand investments and reporting. Ideally you will hold a full accounting qualification or have worked in a similar role in Local Government.

Job Offer

Contract is for an initial 6 months, with hybrid working and will offer up to £450 per day to the successful candidate. Interviews could take place on short notice so candidates will need to be available on short notice.
