Page Personnel are recruiting for a Payroll Implementation Consultant on behalf of a growing professional services business based in central Manchester (Ancoats).
As a Payroll Implementation Consultant, you are responsible for helping clients in all stages of the implementation lifecycle.
Project responsibilities include client data gathering for the configuration of payroll software & managing clients’ expectations

Description
Payroll Implementation Consultant duties include:
* Support/Lead client meetings, discovery workshops and weekly project calls
* Assist/Advise clients to plan for, prepare and cleanse data prior to migration between system
* Configuration of Brain Payroll/Sage People Payroll to meet client’s business requirements and needs based on configuration documents
* Full end-to-end implementation process – this includes: Discovery, Data Migration, Parallel Run, Reconciliation
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on all payroll projects
* Respond to customer queries and provide technical support during the implementation process
* Assist in customer Parallel phase as and when required, addressing and resolving any issues identified in a timely manner
* Engage with multiple projects and clients at the same time, and manage project prioritise
* Attend internal and external project meetings, provide status on progress status and project deliverables
* Offer advice on configuration options and impact – advising on best practice
* Have knowledge and Awareness across both HR and Payroll functions but with a clear focus on payroll
* Provide advice on configuration options and impact to clients and the team, leading discussions on product interfaces
* Proactively ensure the highest standards of professionalism, service, and accuracy for team and project work when assigned
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be CIPP qualified (desirable)
- Have a proven track record in an implementation role
- Be able to take ownership of project life cycles
- Be familiar with HR and Payroll across multiple sectors
- Have strong MS Excel skills
- Be an excellent written and verbal communicator
