Part time Receptionist
Bedford – office based
Hours – 20 hours per week, you will work rotating days each week please see the working days below
Week 1 – Thursday and Friday 8am – 5pm.
Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8am – 5pm.
Temporary for 4-6 weeks, this may extend.
We are searching for a candidate who can start immediately, you must have experience within an office-based Customer Service or Receptionist role. You will be polite and helpful as you will be first point of contact to visitors both internal staff and external customers. This is working for a fantastic business, after your temporary assignment there may be other opportunities in the wider business.
The role
- Greet visitors coming into reception
- Provide visitors passes
- Alert points of contact in the business that their visitors have arrived
- Provide refreshments while the visitor waits
- Take incoming calls and transfer to relevant teams
- Book meeting rooms
- Keep waiting area clean and tidy
- Help with enquiries, and escalate issues if required
Skills/ experience required
- Must have previous experience within an office-based Customer Service or Receptionist role
- Must be well presented and polite
- Helpful with a can-do attitude
- Good at prioritising your workload and multi-tasking
- Must be confident learning new computer systems quickly
