Description
- Provide expert tax advisory services to corporate and private client/personal tax clients.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development within the team.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic solutions to clients.
- Review and refine internal tax processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure the team is fully informed.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Tax department.
Profile
A successful Mixed Tax Associate Director should have:
- Experience working a middle-market-focused Accountancy Practice (UK-based).
- Professional tax qualifications such as CTA or ATT.
- 6+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Extensive knowledge of both corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory work.
- Previous experience in managing a team within a tax environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement solutions effectively.
- A proactive approach to keeping up to date with tax legislation and industry trends.
