Description

  • Provide expert tax advisory services to corporate and private client/personal tax clients.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering growth and development within the team.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic solutions to clients.
  • Review and refine internal tax processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and ensure the team is fully informed.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the Tax department.

Profile

A successful Mixed Tax Associate Director should have:

  • Experience working a middle-market-focused Accountancy Practice (UK-based).
  • Professional tax qualifications such as CTA or ATT.
  • 6+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Extensive knowledge of both corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Previous experience in managing a team within a tax environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to identify and implement solutions effectively.
  • A proactive approach to keeping up to date with tax legislation and industry trends.
