Overview

My client is seeking a proactive MICE and SIT Specialist to enhance their sales and operations team. You’ll play a crucial role in planning, organising, and executing exciting events and Special Interest Tours (SIT). Your tasks will include developing and managing a product database to drive successful bids. As the primary point of contact, you’ll deliver personalised, end-to-end solutions, ensure seamless event execution, and build strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain a web-based portal for tours and events, optimise tariffs, catalogue products engagingly, and contribute to segment development projects.
* Support sales with appealing offer letters, handle itinerary and revenue checks, promote destinations and products, and advise on suitable client solutions.
* Coordinate booking requests, assist with bookings, conduct site inspections, and support VIP/event coordination as needed.
* Conduct research, organise cross-divisional sprints, provide administrative support, and seek continuous improvements in the working environment.

You will need:

* To bring positivity and excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* To prioritise driving revenue, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
* MICE and SIT Expertise: Proven experience in creating, proposing, and managing packages, with a knack for high-quality event documentation.
* A familiarity with marketing, especially social media, is a plus, alongside a proactive approach to projects and tasks .
