Mechanical Plant Supervisor / Mechanical Technician – Isle of Grain – Kent

£42,000 – £48,000 + 5% Bonus

39hr week (Monday – Thursday 8.00am-4.00pm, Friday 8.00am-3.00pm)

Our client is a world leading producer that is dedicated to producing products that’s quality is recognised as second to none. With a strong order book and due to growth into various export markets they are looking for a Mechanical Plant Supervisor/Mechanical Technician to join their close knit team. With sites across the world they provide genuine opportunities for progression.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Work as part of a team to ensure safe, efficient & reliable execution of all aspects of plant operation
* Responsible for planning & execution of routine maintenance & shutdowns

• Responsible for all aspects of safety, health, quality and environmental compliance, site security and mechanical maintenance
  * Resolve mechanical and process related issues and breakdown on site
  * Contractor management, permit to work, organizing work loads

  Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  * Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or apprenticeship trained
  * Strong safety mindset and focus on operating practices
  * Experience in engineering or manufacturing environments
