Description

Maintain complete and accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Prepare and process financial transactions, such as invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, and payroll.

Monitor and reconcile all bank and credit card statements regularly.

Collaborate with other departments to gather and organise financial data for reporting purposes.

Generate accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, laws, and regulations.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.

Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvements.

Support the preparation of tax documents and work closely with external auditors during the auditing process.

Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting standards to maintain best practices within the company.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team at a leading global digital solutions company. As a Management Accountant, you will play a critical role in managing our financial records and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial transactions. Your attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment will be essential for success in this role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Job Offer

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000PA

Desirable Location in Hammersmith, close to transport links.
