A Management Accountant to lead a Care & Support department is required to take on a key role in the financial management of a mid-sized Housing Association. Description

Providing financial advice and support to the Care & Support team.

Preparing and presenting regular monthly management reports to the Exec team.

Responsible for all elements of budgeting, financial performance reporting and forecasting, and financial business analysis for the care & support business unit.

Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Contributing to financial decision-making processes within the team.

Identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Profile
- Qualified or newly qualified – ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with exceptional skills in Excel.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards within the Care & Support sector
- Analytic skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience of preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts
- Experience evaluating and explaining variances from budgets and forecasts.
- Proven experience in forecasting and cost analysis.
