The Leasehold Officer is an integral member of the Property team, responsible for managing relationships with leaseholders and ensuring smooth operations within the department. The role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of property management within the non-profit sector.

Description
- Manage relationships with leaseholders and handle related queries
- Ensure leasehold services are delivered efficiently and effectively
- Process lease extensions and deal with Right to Buy applications
- Carry out consultations in accordance with Section 20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act
- Provide advice on service charges and major works
- Work collaboratively with the property team to deliver excellent service
- Support the implementation of leasehold policy and procedures
- Participate in property management meetings and contribute to team objectives
Profile
A successful Leasehold Officer should have:
- A solid understanding of leasehold management within the not-for-profit sector
- Strong knowledge of property law and leasehold legislation
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex leasehold queries
Job Offer
- An annual salary ranging between £38,000 and £40,700
