IP Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity for an IP Litigation Associate / Senior Associate to join a renowned, award winning international law firm based in Birmingham.

The role focuses on handling contentious IP matters, particularly in the life sciences, technology, manufacturing, and retail sectors. It presents a unique opportunity to work on precedent-setting actions including oppositions before the European Patent Office

As a key member of the IP team, you will be responsible for a wide range of contentious IP work, offering expert guidance on freedom to operate, strategic litigation, IP management, and investment optimisation. Our team is involved in precedent setting actions before the High Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and CJEU in both hard and soft IP.

You will have 2+ years PQE, with a strong background in patent litigation, particularly involving either life sciences or complex technologies. The firm value team players with exceptional interpersonal skills who can build robust client relationships and contribute to a commitment to technical excellence and exceptional client service.

Job Tenure: Permanent and Full-Time
Salary: £61000 – £90000 per annum
