Interim Project Accountant – A Medical Not for Profit organisation – 12 month contract – 1 day in office in London per week

Client Details

A prominent Not for Profit organisation are looking for an Interim Project Accountant to assist them through an exciting transformation period.


Main responsibilities:

  • Deliver Finance Business Support to key Project managers and Programme leads
  • Own and deliver month end accounting process for relevant projects, accruals forecasts and variance analysis
  • Ad hoc FP&A and Finance activity as required
  • Provide control point for project spend and verify that spend or committment is in budget
  • Deliver consolidated project reporting at the relevant level for each stakeholder group
  • Work alongside the Business Excellence/Change team to analyst, model and monitor Benefits and Cost savings across the organisation


The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
  • Excellent IT/system skills
  • Evidenced Project Accounting and Reporting experience
  • Transformation background is ideal
  • Experience using front end customer facing systems
  • Some Commercial sector exposure
  • Demonstrated determination to deal with tricky customers
