Description
- Overseeing the financial management and budgeting of the organisation.
- Financial Controller responsibilities
- Ensuring financial compliance and risk management.
- Liaising with stakeholders and other departments to ensure financial transparency.
- Preparing financial reports and statements for board meetings.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures.
- Providing financial analysis and forecasting to guide decision-making.
- Mentoring and developing team members – you will have 3 direct reports
- Supporting with onboarding a new external auditor
Profile
A successful applicant will:
- Be a Qualfied Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
- Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and uplifting a finance team.
- Be able to bring on a new external auditor
- Have strong technical abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Have extensive charity experience at the Head of Finance level
