This position is for a highly motivated HR Advisor who will play a crucial role in the HR team of a FTSE 250 business. Based in Manchester with hybrid working, you will provide HR support and advice to all levels of staff.

Description

As a HR Advisor you’ll be joining the HR Team and play a pivotal role in supporting the business with all day-to-day employee relations queries. You will be at the forefront of providing commercial and practical advice to line managers and colleagues whilst demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the business and its divisions.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in HR, with a strong employee relations background, and be able to effectively coach, influence and challenge where appropriate

  • You will work closely with the HR Business Partner & HR Director on key initiatives and projects to develop the progressive people-agenda
  • Demonstrate an understanding of business operation and culture – The ideal candidate will quickly develop a strong commercial understanding whilst providing advice and guidance based on a thorough consideration of all relevant factors
  • Develop and utilse key people-data – Recognise trends and recommend solutions for continual improvement to increase colleague engagement, retention and overall performance
  • Support activities and projects aligned with the wider people-strategy, such as colleague wellbeing, diversity, engagement and retention
  • Work closely with wider HR functions (Recruitment, Payroll, L&D) to deliver an all-round excellent service to all business divisions

Profile

A successful HR Advisor should have:

· Strong employee relations/case-work background

· Experience operating in fast-paced environments

· Confident in advising and partnering a diverse mix of stakeholders across numerous business divisions, with

the ability to adapt their approach and advise accordingly.

· A strong communicator – both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport quickly

· A confident influencer – a true subject matter expert

· An innovator, able to thrive whilst supporting the delivery of a progressive people-strategy
