This position is for a Group Financial Controller in the Insurance industry, based in High Wycombe. The successful candidate will operate within the Accounting & Finance department at a Senior Manager/Senior Associate level.

Description

  • Lead the financial control function for the group
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes
  • Monitor regulatory changes in the insurance industry and ensure compliance
  • Provide strategic financial input to senior management
  • Manage and develop the finance team

Profile

A successful Group Financial Controller should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA
  • Prior experience in a similar role within the insurance industry
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial control principles
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Proficiency in using financial software and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
