I am exclusively partnering with a fantastic Not for Profit Organisation. This opportunity has arisen for a skilled Financial Accountant to join a large not-for-profit organisation. The role is 100% remote and calls for a candidate who can manage Financial accounting responsibilities and contribute to financial strategies.

Our client is a well-established organisation within the not-for-profit industry. With a workforce of over 1,000 employees, they are committed to making a positive impact on society. The organisation operates in various locations across the UK.


  • Ensure that all subsidiaries of the Shaw Trust Group are following the correct groups accounting policies, particularly in relation to regular (monthly or quarterly) balance sheet and other reconciliations.
  • Ensure the accurate management of centralised asset processes including fixed assets, leases and capital expenditure
  • Action all asset requests in an accurate and timely manner
  • Hold responsibility for balance sheet and P&L reconciliation and justification for asset related accounts
  • Prepare and review of other key balance sheet reconciliations across the Group.
  • Assist in the preparation of the statutory year end accounts across the Group.


A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance – ACA / ACCA / QBE
  • Proven working experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role for c.3 + years
  • Group consolidations experience.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages.
  • An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Offer
