Financial Controller – Madrid – Salary TBC
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to oversee and analyze financial data crucial for the effective management of our organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial oversight, addressing budget deviations, and facilitating strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performance Measurement: Define and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business actions, estimate outcomes, and analyze their impact on organizational goals.
* Control Procedures: Establish and manage control procedures to ensure that actual results are compared with desired outcomes, using objective and reliable information flows.
* Deviation Analysis: Identify and analyze the causes of budget deviations, recommending corrective actions to meet financial targets.
* Strategic Advisory: Provide informed advice to management based on financial data analysis.
* Reporting and Budgeting: Produce periodic analytical and financial reports, and develop budgets accordingly.
* Monthly/Annual Reporting: Prepare and deliver monthly and annual financial reports on time, collaborating with the operations department (F&B) to develop action plans.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a financial role.
* Languages: Professional proficiency in English.
Desired Knowledge:
* Software Proficiency: Experience with Outlook, Office Suite, Ágora IGT, Dynamics NAV-Business Central, PowerBi, Clear One, Cover Manager, Dropbox, and One Drive.
