Overview

This Financial Controller role takes ownership for ensuring tight balance sheet control, preparing variance analysis / commentary, and supporting with the annual audit (external auditors). You’ll work directly with the FD.

Our client is a family-run retail business based in Liverpool.

Description

  • Reviewing and reconciling balance sheet and profit / loss accounts
  • Preparing variance analysis and commentaries
  • Reviewing / reconciling credit card receipt accounts
  • Acting as point of contact for external auditors / tax advisors
  • Preparing financial statement notes
  • Closing off period and year end in Sage X3
  • Preparing VAT, end of year tax and duty returns

Profile

  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • Industry experience
  • Ability to work at pace and balance different priorities
  • Professional and confident, able to present to senior stakeholders

Job Offer
