The position will also involve taking ownership of various technical accounting tasks and processes

Description
- Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely management accounts that provide valuable insights for decision-making.
- Take responsibility for complex technical accounting tasks at month-end, including revenue recognition
- Assist the Financial Controller with key year-end compliance activities such as audits and IFRS statutory reviews.
- Work alongside the Financial Controller and external tax advisors
- Act as the Finance Business Partner
- Drive the annual budgeting process and contribute to internal forecasts.
- Manage and mentor two Junior Accountants, overseeing their day-to-day responsibilities as well as their career development.
- Provide ad hoc support to the Head of Finance and Financial Controller on various queries, analyses, and initiatives aimed at improving processes.

- Qualified Accountant
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organisation skills
Job Offer
£55,000 – £65,000
