The key duties are as followed:

  • Lead and manage a team in the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies and plans.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
  • Ensure all financial operations comply with governmental regulations.
  • Manage relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Analyse financial performance and forecast longer term horizons.
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports.
  • Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, and executives.


To be successful in this role you will have the following
  • A degree in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Proven experience in a financial management role within the NHS
  • Proficient in the use of financial software.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding leadership abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working on large projects
