I am working with an exciting hotel group who are looking for an Director of Sales who will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing the sales team, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets.

This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, analyzing market trends, and identifying new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet company goals and revenue targets.
* Analyze market trends, competition, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
* Set sales goals, forecast sales revenue, and manage the sales budget.

Team Leadership and Management:

* Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales managers and representatives.
* Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
* Monitor sales team performance and provide regular feedback and guidance.
* Recruit, hire, and retain top sales talent.

Customer Relationship Management:

* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
* Negotiate contracts and close deals with major customers.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

* Track and analyze sales performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
* Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance to the executive team.
* Adjust strategies based on performance data to optimize results.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

* Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall company goals.
* Collaborate on promotional strategies, product launches, and customer feedback.

Business Development:

* Identify new business opportunities and develop plans to expand the company’s customer base.
* Lead efforts in market expansion and entry into new territories.
* Establish relationships with industry influencers and attend industry events and conferences.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience as a Director of Sales or similar leadership role in sales.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
* In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
