The purpose of this role is to provide management and financial accounting analysis for development, construction, and sales operations.

Housing Association with a focus on providing quality homes at below-market rents for people who would otherwise struggle to afford them. They are both a landlord and a developer, renowned for their commitment to excellence and their strong emphasis on employee development.

Description

  • To aid in the preparation of yearly statutory financial statements and notes to statements for the applicable area of responsibility.
  • Communicate with external auditors during the interim and yearly audits.
  • To provide a complete financial service while guaranteeing that financial and accounting data are correctly represented in accounting systems.
  • To aid department heads in making financial-based choices.
  • To aid in coordinating the creation of yearly budgets with the appropriate budget holders.
  • To create monthly, quarterly, and other ad hoc management account reports and key indicators for the appropriate areas.
  • Establish a good working connection with our external development partners, learning about their systems, time lines, and reporting capabilities to guarantee the receiving of accurate and timely information.

Profile

  • Professional Accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent project management and organising abilities.
  • Preference for those who have worked in construction or residential property development.
  • Excellent communication, and influence skills.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary between £55,000 – £65,000
