Contentious Probate Solicitor

Up to £63,000 DOE
A great opportunity for an experienced contentious probate solicitor has arisen to join an award-winning national law firm. Due to growth, this role can be based in either Bristol or Cardiff.
You will be working as part of a well-established and highly regarded team handling contentious probate matters. The source of work is predominately LEI and private instruction. You will be expected to independently manage a mixed caseload varying in complexity and value representing both Claimants and Defendants. You are likely to deal with issues such as challenges to the validity of Wills and other documents, bringing and defending IPFDA claims, dealing with claims arising from the administration of Trusts and Estates and professional negligence claims against solicitors in relation to advice given about trusts.
Previous experience of dealing with costs matters both pre-costs proceedings and through detailed assessment is essential.
The ideal candidate should be commercially aware and can expect the opportunity to be actively involved in business development.
