Job Title: Clean Energy Senior Associate
Location: London
Salary: From £95,000 + Bonus

A leading award-winning law firm is seeking a Senior Associate with expertise in Clean Energy and Projects.

This role involves working within a specialised team focusing on renewable energy, battery storage, distributed generation, and smart solutions. Key areas of experience include energy-from-waste, solar PV, wind power, CHP, zero emission vehicles, hydrogen, electricity networks, grid connections, and energy performance contracting.

Responsibilities include handling power purchase agreements, battery optimisation and tolling contracts, clean energy project developments, acquisitions and disposals, low carbon support regimes, energy supply contracts, biogas offtake arrangements, Ofgem licensing, electricity regulation, and grid connection arrangements.

Candidates should have minimum of 4 years post qualified experience in the commercial, projects, or regulatory sectors within the clean energy industry. Familiarity with technologies such as solar PV, wind, hydro, battery storage, energy-from-waste, biogas, hydrogen, EV charging infrastructure, and district heating is advantageous.
