Overview

Reporting into the Head of Product, this role will support the business in developing their Card Operations function. You will play a pivotal role in scaling card operations while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction

Description

  • Developing and launching new products, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead card operations, including customer on-boarding, payment processing, customer relations, fraud management, charge backs, collections, and account maintenance.
  • Oversee operational processes, develop and maintain standard operating procedures, and drive quality initiatives across the customer life-cycle.
  • Ensure configuration of new card programs across 3rd parties and the banks catalogue.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for Card Scheme (e.g., Visa) and external vendor representatives for implementation projects.
  • Provide testing support for card products and services.
  • Act as an implementation advisor, providing guidance for necessary activities internally and with 3rd party partners.
  • Define, create, maintain, and document standard and non-standard implementation processes.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency within the card operations department.
  • Oversee integration of new technologies and systems to improve card operations and contribute to the bank’s digital transformation.
  • Contribute to annual business plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

Profile

  • Proven experience in card operations within banking, fin-tech, payments or other financial services.
  • Proficiency in technology integration and digital transformation.
  • Strong team player with effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Able to travel monthly to Switzerland
  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Competitive salary between £75,000 to £85,000, plus a discretionary bonus.
